Your questions
Do I have to be located in the United States to use your services?
Nope! The Texas Secretary of State only requires that the notary be physically present in the State of Texas at the time of notarization. Signers, on the other hand, may be located anywhere in the world. Do I have to be a United States citizen to get a document notarized? Nope! Texas state law prohibits any form of discrimination when it comes to offering notarial services, and this includes national origin. Will my document be accepted for use overseas? That depends on your country's requirements. If your country is a signatory of the 1961 Apostille Convention, then there is a one-step process for document authentication through the Secretary of State. If your country is not a signatory of the convention, then your documents may require a more complex embassy legalization process. Can you authenticate my documents for use overseas? Of course! You can place an order for document authentication through Authenticate My Docs, a sister company of International Notary Online. Check out how to get started with the document authentication process and if it's right for you, place an order directly through the Authenticate My Docs website. |
